Suva, Fiji – Outsource Fiji hosted a graduation ceremony earlier today, for sixty-six (66) individuals who were part of the LearningPlanet scholarship which began in July this year. The graduation ceremony marked the culmination of a comprehensive 9-module program, with participants receiving certificates acknowledging their readiness to contribute to Fiji’s outsourcing industry. Outsource Fiji, Executive Director, Ms Sagufta Janif while congratulating the graduates stated that the certificates received by the recipients represent their successful journey and preparedness to enter the workforce with updated skills and expertise. “Our primary goal with the LearningPlanet scholarship program was to equip our people with the necessary skills and expertise to thrive in the outsourcing industry. We are immensely proud of the participants’ dedication and perseverance, and we wholeheartedly congratulate them on this significant achievement”. “One notable achievement of this program is the impressive representation of approximately 92% female participants. This initiative has opened doors and empowered women, ensuring inclusivity and diversity within the outsourcing sector. These graduates are now part of Outsource Fiji’s esteemed job-ready database, which is accessible to members, providing a pool of talented and skilled individuals for employment opportunities”, she added. Outsource Fiji also extends its sincere gratitude to the Fiji government for their generous support in allocating funding for this program in the 2023-2024 Fiji National Budget. This support has played a pivotal role in enabling the successful implementation of the program, empowering individuals, and fostering the growth and innovation of the outsourcing industry. This initiative highlights Outsource Fiji’s unwavering commitment to providing opportunities for skill development, promoting inclusivity, and driving the growth and innovation of the outsourcing sector.
