Fiji Showcases Outsourcing Excellence at Customer Contact Week 2026 in Sydney

25 March 2026 | Press Release Suva, Fiji. Fiji’s rapidly growing outsourcing industry was proudly showcased on the international stage as Outsource Fiji, in collaboration with the members Duco Consultancy, Mindpearl Fiji, and Bula Outsourcing, participated in the Customer Contact Week (CCW) Australia & New Zealand 2026.

The premier industry event was held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia, from March 18–19, 2026, bringing together global leaders, innovators, and decision-makers in customer experience, contact centres, and business process outsourcing.

The Fijian delegation was led by Outsource Fiji Executive Director Mr Josefa Wivou and Manager Corporate Affairs Ms Shivika Patel, alongside key industry representatives Mr Diego Vidal, National Sales Manager at Duco Consultancy; Mr Shayne Jackson, Business Development Director – Asia Pacific at Mindpearl Fiji, and Mr Manoa Puamau, Chief Operating Officer at Bula Outsourcing.

The participation highlighted Fiji’s growing reputation as a competitive, high-quality outsourcing destination, particularly for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Mr Vidal emphasised the strong market interest generated during the two-day engagement.

“It was a great opportunity to position the Outsource Fiji brand within the Australian market,” Mr Vidal said.

“Many attendees had not previously considered Fiji as an outsourcing destination, and this event allowed us to open those conversations and showcase what Fiji has to offer.”

Mr Vidal noted that direct engagement with potential clients helped shift perceptions and introduced Fiji as a viable and attractive alternative to traditional outsourcing hubs.

Mr Jackson highlighted the importance of global exposure and industry collaboration, noting that the event provided valuable insights into emerging trends and innovations.

“It is always a privilege to represent Fiji on the world stage and to engage with industry peers and leaders, especially at a time when the sector is undergoing significant transformation.

“There is strong interest in exploring alternatives beyond traditional outsourcing destinations, and Fiji stands out due to its cultural alignment with Australia, service quality, and niche capabilities. Outsource Fiji continues to play a vital role in supporting and promoting the industry in a fair and collaborative way.”

Outsource Fiji Executive Director Mr Josefa Wivou highlighted that the engagement extended beyond the main conference, with key discussions commencing at the Fiji High Commission’s new office on Elizabeth Street in Sydney’s CBD, where sector trends and opportunities were explored.

“The Secretariat had the opportunity to engage with respected industry experts, including Ms Jane Counsel in Training and Development and Ms Sharon Melamed, Founder of Matchboard, to discuss both the opportunities and challenges Fiji is navigating as an emerging outsourcing destination,” he said.

“These engagements have already translated into strong interest, with a number of potential clients now actively progressing investment opportunities in Fiji over the coming months.”

“Our members had the opportunity to interact directly with potential clients, and the discussions over the two days were insightful, forward-looking, and encouraging for the future of the outsourcing sector. Fiji’s outsourcing industry is growing rapidly, and platforms such as CCW allow us to showcase our capabilities, build meaningful partnerships, and position Fiji as a trusted and competitive outsourcing destination.

“The delegation’s presence reinforced Fiji’s unique value proposition, highlighting its strong cultural and business alignment with Australia and New Zealand, high-quality service delivery supported by a skilled workforce, a competitive operating environment, and a collaborative and supportive industry ecosystem.”

Mr Manoa Puamau of Bula Outsourcing described the event as “a great experience” for him.

“It was amazing to be able to promote Fiji as an outsourcing destination and represent Bula Outsourcing on such a platform,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation to Outsource Fiji, adding, “a big thank you to Outsource Fiji for allowing us to be part of this,” and noted that he looks forward to participating in future events.

As global businesses continue to diversify their outsourcing strategies, Fiji is increasingly being recognised as a reliable, agile, and culturally aligned partner.
